Quick Currency is designed to respect your privacy completely. The short version: we don’t collect any personal data, we don’t track you, and there are no accounts or ads. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Information we collect
None. Quick Currency does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no sign-up, no account, and no analytics or advertising software in the app.
Location
Quick Currency does not use location services and never asks for location permission. To suggest sensible default currencies, the app reads your device’s Region setting and time zone locally, on your device. This information is used only to pick currencies and is never sent anywhere.
Exchange rate data
To show current rates, the app downloads a small file of daily exchange rates over a secure connection. This is an anonymous request for public information — no personal data is included, and we do not build any profile of you. Exchange rate data is provided by Exchange Rate API.
Data stored on your device
The app saves a few preferences on your device so it works well: your chosen currency pair and the most recently downloaded rates (so it works offline). This information stays on your device, is not shared with us or anyone else, and is removed if you delete the app.
Children’s privacy
Quick Currency does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads or third-party content.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. Because the app collects no data, we don’t expect material changes.
